I’ve been selling clothing on my personal Depop storefront for five years. It’s been an ongoing personal project for me and a real passion of mine. I source all of the items myself, selecting pieces I think will do well based on current trends, quality, and known brands. Shopping on a budget is key for me, and I also look for pieces that are similar to those of popular designer brands. I make that connection and advertise the pieces as a budget-friendly alternative for those who want to achieve a popular look. In order to increase engagement on my page, I add backgrounds that I think elevate the pieces and help customers “see the vision”.
